Alexander McQueen had his models walking in 10-inch stiletto heels in his show yesterday. I love a super high heel more than anyone I know, but even I am terrified of these. I can imagine a literal death by fashion experience of falling down a flight of a stairs. What do you think? Do your feet hurt just looking at them?By the way, McQueen's show was just what you would expect - each piece was a work of art and (literally) out of this world. McQueen was inspired by Darwin's "The Origin of Species," and this collection is his imagined version of humankind after evolving from sea creatures in a post-apocalyptic world. Definitely not your average ready-to-wear, but the structured dresses, artfully designed prints, ruffled hemlines....everything is just beautiful and inspiring.

I've sprained an ankle or two in heels.. and while drinking haha I would never attempt to wear those!

I would hope no one wore MOST things they saw on the runway in a literal sense. Where would you wear it???
Most of our lifestyles wouldn's support 10 inch heels... Even for a night on the town....
I'm sure we'll see an adaptation that is more practical and wearable by street fashionistas soon!
